About Ananta:

Ananta Sylvain Girard, the founder of the AYM-ARYM Institute has been working with the Ayurvedic Yoga Massage method for over 20 years, as a sought-after massage therapist, instructor and spa consultant. He has trained therapists for some of the finest luxury spa resorts along with Massage, Yoga and Pilates schools worldwide. Ananta has spent much of the past 25 years in Asia—especially in India, where he learned massage, yoga and meditation at the feet of outstanding masters. In 1995 he had the essential meeting with Master Kusum Modak, developer of the Ayurvedic Yoga Massage method. Over the next five years, Ananta would learn the technique directly from Kusum, eventually becoming her personal assistant and arranging her courses. After those years of initiation, transmission and empowerment, he left India to travel the world, teaching and healing with the method on his way and has been all over Asia, USA, and in nearly all the European countries. He continually studies to deepen his knowledge as a therapist and instructor in „Anatomy for Movement Method“, Biodynamics of Osteopathy and Ayurveda. As an instructor, Ananta is thorough and precise, yet warmhearted and genuine. He is highly receptive to the individual needs of each student and class as a whole. With patience and detailed instruction, he guides students to fully understand techniques safely practicing them using the healing potential of mindful touch, deep breathing and assisted stretching. Embracing both modern innovation and traditional Eastern wisdom, Ananta is transmitting the teaching of the AYM method with passion and devotion. He has got the blessing to do so of his beloved teacher, Master Kusum Modak.
